Job Summary:
The Senior Test Technician is responsible for performing environmental testing to validate product performance under various conditions, ensuring compliance with MIL-STD-810, DO-160, and customer specifications. This role involves operating environmental test equipment, maintaining detailed documentation, and supporting engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality products.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain environmental test equipment, including thermal chambers, vibration tables, and centrifuges. Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure reliability. Conduct tests such as temperature cycling, thermal shock, burn-In, random/sine vibration (powered and unpowered), and constant acceleration according to specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or test setup issues. Record, analyze, and report test results, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with engineering teams to refine test procedures and support product design improvements. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with relevant standards. Coordinate preventative maintenance and service calls. Communicate goals and priorities with management to maintain deadlines. Cross train new employees to support as back-up for ESS Work from schematics, work instructions, drawings, and operating procedures.Required Qualifications:
Associate degree in electronics, engineering technology, or a related field. Ideally 5+ years experience in laboratory testing, including 2 in environmental testing with knowledge of MIL-STD-810 and DO-160 Proficiency in operating test systems Strong analytical abilitiesPreferred Qualification:

Specific abilities required by this job include the frequent requirement of overtime work.
