SAP supply chain management (SCM) solutions are market leaders and are used by more than 2,500 customers worldwide. We aim to innovate the SCM product portfolio through an Integrated Business Planning cloud product that integrates with our established ERP business suite S/4HANA.

SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) is a cloud solution that enables companies to react quickly to customer demands and helps them handle changes and shortages in the supply chain by generating a short to mid-term supply plan based on prioritized and categorized demand, such as orders and forecasts. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer in our dynamic team, you'll lead quality assurance and test automation efforts for complex systems, leveraging advanced technology and automation tools. This role requires a solid foundation in programming, exceptional adaptability to changing technology landscapes, and proficiency with various test automation frameworks.

Develop and execute a comprehensive quality and test strategy. Design and maintain detailed test coverage matrices for your scrum team. Design, develop, and execute test plans including security and performance testingBuild, maintain, and execute a robust suite of automated tests; continuously refine testing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Troubleshoot and debug test issues, set up necessary environments, prepare test data, and take proactive steps to resolve problems. Analyze and decompose complex software systems to create effective test strategies. Collaborate with Quality colleagues and Developers to design, enhance, or build new test automation frameworks as necessary. Maintain a high standard of quality to ensure excellent user experiences and customer satisfaction. Shows initiative and drives topics to resolution at a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. Foster a collaborative environment within a motivated team and communicate effectively with both local and remote colleagues. Engage in continuous learning and development through mentorship and knowledge sharing to enhance technical skills

 

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent Minimum five years of experience working as a Test Automation Engineer/Quality Engineer with experience in designing and developing automated test Require technology knowledge in the following areas: Programming Languages: Java, JS, HTML, ABAP, CSS, JSON, OData HTTP Calls, XML Automation Tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Git/GitHub, Gerrit, Postman / REST Client for VSCode, SUT / ABAP Unit Technical Knowledge in the following areas is an Asset: Eclipse, SQL, GTP, VS Code, Apache JMeter  Comprehensive understanding of software development and testing life cycles Skilled in various test automation frameworks; capable of adapting or developing frameworks as needed Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges and technologies Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams Experience in incident management, triage and resolution handling customer support and communication Good understanding of cloud concepts and cloud technologies Proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 102,400- 214,300 (CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
