• Leads the regular assembly (fabrication, phone jigs), test (SW, ESD & Instrumentation calibration) and preventive maintenance of company equipment including 5S, lubrication, UAT etc. Follows standard practices and procedures such as those defined in the PM specification, calibration specification, WI, JA, FMEA, OCAP, etc and proposes process and machine improvement.
• Identifies and corrects equipment malfunctions, repairs, and replacements with limited supervision needed on a daily basis. Ensures machine and its' input parameters are working within the defined specifications.
• Provides 24x7 support to troubleshoot advance process issues. Analyzes root cause and propose corrective actions.
• Maintains documentation of equipment maintenance and repair procedures for future reference procedures.
• Maintain inventory control of equipment tools and parts. Including processing of RFQ and PR. Ensures area of responsibility is clean, safe, and organized. Performs scrap disposal including sorting and documentation.
• Assists on job trainings, for new machines/upgrades, to workers when needed. Serves as one of the key-trainer for equipment/test process overview.
• Acts as team lead during night shift or when direct supervisor is unavailable, taking over tasks delegation and acting as key coordinator for test/equipment activities. Acts as overall focal for the shift.
• Leads improvements to enhance test/equipment performance, reliability, and yield.
• Conducts offline repairs for usable parts. Regularly coordinates with OEM & local supplier for parts availability, repair, calibration including pick up & delivery of parts.
• Provides OQE updates on general status of machine, activities, spares, etc.
• Coordinates with internal customers in OQE and fabrication shop for critical requirements and with
• Supports machine installations, new software deployment, new product introduction requiring jigs/toolings and other critical initiatives.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
