Senior Technology Writer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate for a Technology Writer to join our Global Corporate Communications Content and Planning team. In this role, you will create, curate, and manage high-quality content to communicate our technological advancements, innovations, and vision to a global audience. You will work closely with our corporate, engineering, marketing, and product teams to ensure our messaging is clear, compelling, and consistent across all platforms. 

 

Key Responsibilities include: 

Develop and produce engaging and informative content on automotive technology, including articles, white papers, blog posts, case studies, and technical documentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights on new technologies, products and industry trends Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for a diverse audience, including customers, stakeholders, and industry professionals Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines Manage and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery across various channels Conduct thorough research to stay updated on the latest developments in automotive technology and related fields Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency

Basic Qualifications:  

7+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the automotive or technology industry, communications, journalism or agency PR  Communication skills – proficiency in creating compelling brand narratives, product and brand press materials, speeches and press releases  Creative thinking – use creative methods to navigate the media landscape and develop unique communication strategies. Integrate brand messaging across digital, social and traditional media platforms  Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail Proficiency in content management systems and digital publishing tools Excellent communication and collaboration skills EOE / Disability / Veteran
