We are seeking an experienced and visionary Cognitive Services Lead to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of innovative GenAI solutions within HEINEKEN. You will lead a dedicated delivery team, architect solutions leveraging the Power Platform and Azure AI suite (including Cognitive Services and Azure OpenAI), and act as the key technical expert, driving the adoption and effective use of AI technologies across the company.
Your responsibilities would include:
leading the end-to-end delivery of AI solutions, focusing on leveraging Azure AI services such as Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, language, vision, and speech to address business challenges translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable and secure technical architectures for AI solutions within the Azure ecosystem providing hands-on technical guidance, designing and potentially coding key components of AI solutions ensuring adherence to best practices and production-grade quality overseeing testing and deployment of AI solutions engaging proactively with internal business stakeholders and external partners to understand needs, define functional requirements and communicate technical possibilities and limitations driving continuous improvement of AI capabilities, evaluating and introducing new Azure AI features, LLMs and innovative approaches to enhance business value architecting and overseeing the integration of AI solutions with core enterprise systems, including Heineken ERPs, CRMs, and potentially Power Platform applications establishing and enforcing AI development standards, best practices, including responsible AI principles and reusable code libraries acting as the subject matter expert for Azure AI implementation company-wide coaching and mentoring junior developers and supporting federated development teams, fostering AI skills across the organization and promoting self-service capabilities where appropriate participating actively and contributing within an agile scrum environment, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, refinement sessions and retrospectives.
You are a good candidate if you:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related technical field minimum 8+ years overall, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience specifically designing, building, and deploying solutions using Azure AI Services / Cognitive Services expertise across the Azure AI services suite, such as Azure OpenAI Service, Cognitive Search, Language Service, Computer Vision, Speech Service strong understanding and practical experience with large language models, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning concepts and application development experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines for CI/CD), Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, or other relevant Azure services, Azure Key Vault, Application Insights proficiency in relevant programming languages for AI development, particularly C# solid understanding of data modelling, database design (SQL/NoSQL), and experience integrating solutions using REST APIs proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor developers, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences excellent analytical and presentation skills experience working in a development team (working with repositories, code reviews) experience working effectively in Agile/Scrum teams with a rapid development cycle excellent written and verbal english communication skills.

Power Platform knowledge: familiarity or experience integrating Azure AI services with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) knowledge of front-end frameworks, including React and Next.js experience building Chatbots (designing Conversational Flow, Entities, Intents) knowledge of Bot Framework knowledge of Power Platform products, including Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
