Job Description:

This job is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Key responsibilities include developing a technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards, promoting design, engineering, and organizational practices, and advocating and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices. Job expectations may include coaching, mentoring, providing feedback and hands on career development, identifying emerging talent, fostering leadership skills, and managing stakeholders.

Experienced engineering leader with a proven track record in technical excellence, cloud application development, and effective team management. Combining deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills, that can drive successful project execution, foster innovation, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities:

Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectivesFacilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skillsManages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are metManages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organizationContributes to the technology strategy for their technical domainCreates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockersEnsures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with product management and other stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

At least 10 years demonstratable experience in:

Must be proficient in designing, building, and deploying of scalable, fault tolerant, and High performance distributed solutions.Expertise in building microservices and deploying the workloads via CICD.Expert in application architecture, system performance optimization and solving complex problems.Technologies used Java, C#, Redis, relational and non-relational databases.

At least 3 years demonstratable experience in:

Solid understanding and 3 years demonstratable experience in AWS cloud security principles, including network security, access control, data encryption, and vulnerability management.Leading agile/scrum development team.Demonstrated experience as engineering leader, driving successful project execution/deliverables

Desired Qualifications:

Highly desire candidates with following certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/ AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional / Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)Team Building (no direct reports).Project Management.Stakeholder communication.
