**Your background**
+ Product Experience – Bonds / Repos / Interest Rates Swaps / FX Market, understanding of venue capabilities, connectivity protocols. Leveraging Front-to-Back capabilities to provide seamless internal and external stakeholder experience.
+ Prior Track Record – Managing Trade Capture and Life-Cycling platform for Fixed Income asset classes which would be primary focus within this role as itdrives buildout of the organization to support financing products. Experience with APEX / MARTINI Front-to-Back undertaking would have additional advantage. Strong development manager experience dealing with Asia complexities within Front-to-Back stack working with Trading / Sales / Operations and Regulatory Technology
+ Business Facing Technologist – Strong Business-centric mindset leveraging interpersonal skills, with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes. Proven track record with front office trades/sales and enterprise support functions to drive business outcomes.
+ Front-to-Back Execution – Experience running Front-to-Back initiatives which spans entire spectrum of capabilities as are required to manage entire Life-Cycling of the trade (Pre-Trade, Trade Capture, Venue Integrations, Cleared and Bilateral Executions, Trade and Order Surveillance, Front Office and Market Risk Management, Finance and local Regulatory Reporting)
+ Technology Management – Business analysis, product understanding to drive body of work for development engineering team with extensive knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies with good understanding of the operational aspects of managing a software stack.
+ Development Mindset – Strong understanding of Agile methodology, with an emphasis on Test Driven Development & Continuous Integration.
**What you can expect**
Asia Fixed Income Technology builds solutions supporting FICC Macro and Micro lines of lines of business (LOB) in Asia. You are expected to drive cross line of business outcomes which are Country / Frontline unit agnostic.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-driven Technology manager who have proven managing business technology interactions to deploy front to back solutions. The team drives horizontally and already has fundamental foundations in place within global target technology architecture.
Vertical LOB Business Technology Leads are expected to leverage and influence horizontal foundations to drive specific LOB outcomes.
As a Development manager, the successful candidate’s primary responsibility would be business liaison for GFF business, driving and influencing global and regional horizontal development and LOB specific development to serve Asia business needs.
You must exhibit sense of urgency. Ideally having worked in a Global Markets Front Office environment, you will understand the importance to analyze problems quickly, provide feedback to relevant stakeholders and set expectations on remediation.
You will be primarily accountable to Regional Head of FICC Macro Technology and have metrics reporting into Global Head of GFF Technology Leads.
**What you will do**
+ Manage technology body of work for Asia units of Financing business which is expanding and lacks local Asia support structure.
+ Build SME expertise within financing platforms to serve as senior point of contact to help demand management, governance to help to drive business outcomes.
+ Identify/Recruit/Augment/Redeploy right talent to support growth of these businesses by influencing horizontal delivery teams based globally and regionally.
+ Work with technology and business groups in the region and globally to deliver high quality products in a fast-paced environment.
+ Drive collaboration with external venues, product owners, trading/sales partners, and infrastructure to deliver end to end experience for our clients and internal stakeholders. You must exhibit solid stakeholder management skills, which includes facing off to the trading desks and business product partners.
+ Influence and collaborate with global technology teams and various control partners to drive the execution. Decompose complex issues and drive timely decisions, knowing when to engage others for additional input, and when to act independently.
+ Manages technology risk, site reliability and contingency planning for Asia and global infrastructure deployed in the region
+ Build the organization for future and takes passion to mentor the team to help them learn and scale.
+ Oversee the acquisition and development of software systems in organizational units.
+ Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organization.
+ Oversee the development of Proof-of-Concept/ solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.
