Our site in 1210 Vienna is a strategic location for solid drug manufacturing including tablets, coated tablets, granules and implants for the health provision and treatment of livestock and domestic animals. In support of our existing team, we are currently looking for a:
Senior Technician Quality Control (m/f/d)
QC Solids Laboratory Technician performs operational activities within own departmental responsibility. Performs daily activities related to the testing operation to ensure that all testing and release of in-process, finished drug products and stability samples are completed.
Executes yearly goals within own functional department. Supports opportunities for improvement throughout the year to ensure completion of each goal.
Adheres to company global regulations and behavior codes.
Adheres to safety regulations, reporting of dangerous situations, near misses and sources of danger in the laboratory.
Main Responsibilities:
Operation
Performs a variety of technical procedures such as preparing routine solutions and reagents and performing routine reactions.
Makes and records observations, performs simple calculations, and collects and prepares data for evaluation.
Conducts laboratory support functions such as stocking and distributing supplies and equipment, arranging and dismantling apparatus and collecting, washing and storing glassware.
Performs technical and record keeping duties in conformance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.
Compliance
Supports improvement of operation systems as well as interface processes to improve compliance and/or productivity.
Follows cGMP, Quality Management Systems, company's policies, and procedures.
People & Development
Performs goals and objectives in alignment with operational activities and company strategy.
Use and continually develop personal professional skills.
EHS
Complies to and promotes all workers EHS regulations, reports dangerous situations, near misses and sources of danger in the laboratory
Requirements:
Degree in Scientific education or equivalent work experience
At least 2 years of experience in Quality Control
At least 2 years of GMP knowledge
Problem Solving
Analytical skills
Written and verbal communication skills (German & English)
