Senior Technician Manufacturing, (Mechanical Device) 1st shift

As a Manufacturing Technician in Mechanical Device, you will assure that dsm-firmenich products are of consistent and high quality by producing products in compliance with established DSM/GMP procedures. Responsibilities:

Performs all operations within assigned manufacturing department, non-controlled and controlled environment areas in accordance with DSM Standard Operation Procedures and all safety requirements as assignedHandling of chemicals and solvents may be requiredKeep detailed, accurate, and legible paper and computerized records of production activities following DSM/GMP guidelines.Advise Group Lead/and or Supervisor of perceived problems with processes, machinery, or product quality and actively participates in developing improvements.Provide suggestions on potential improvement opportunities in quality, product, processes and efficiency.Assure product quality through close attention to detail, inspection methods, and in-process testing as required.

You bring:

Two-year technical degree preferred or equivalent years of experience in related fields5+ years’ experience, preferably in Medical Device manufacturing or GMP related industryAbility to work with small parts and tie knotsStrong oral and written communication skillsProficient in the use of M/S Office, Word, and ExcelKnowledge and experience working with machinery, tooling, and products/processes in a medical device environment preferredIndustrial scale hands-on experience with process optimization focus
