As Senior Technician, Broadcast you will lead the Broadcast Technical Team. You be responsible for maintaining a high quality shipboard broadcast product including the operation and programming of all shipwide control systems, TV output, filming and editing and audio visual support for live events.

Responsibilities: Lead the Broadcast team providing training, performance coaching, recognition, and feedback including documented conversations and coachingsDaily managing of the Broadcast department including TV output, filming and editing, upkeep and testing of the Emergency Paging System, operation of BGM and movie showings and audio visual support for live eventsEnsure the operation and programming of broadcast and shipwide control systems, TV content, 35mm movie projection, LED screens, videography and editing is meticulousResponsible for maintaining a high quality shipboard broadcast product through the operation of shipwide video systems, including video cameras and switchersCoordinate and assist in the preventative maintenance and routine repair of all Broadcast and projection equipment including all ship-wide televisionsProgram and maintain the automated scheduling and video server playback systemsUpdate Coolsign media playerDecrypt new movies and sitcoms for the movie channel and movie schedulePartner with the Entertainment Leadership Teams regarding load ins and outs, equipment tests, vendor support, cast changeovers, movie premiers and corporate eventsSchedule the Broadcast teamLead department meetings Basic Qualifications: Minimum five years' experience in a relevant shipboard or applicable shore side positionExpertise with professional broadcast equipment including video cameras, VTR, and editing systemsStrong computer skills and proven experience with common computer applications; strong knowledge of computer networking systemsProven experience of operation and maintenance of computer-based broadcast and/or control systemsVideo camera operation and lighting for TV, preferredGood understanding of Apple Broadcast software, preferred Additional Information:This is a SHIPBOARD role.
