Main purpose of the role
As a Senior Technical Writer, your main role involves to create, maintain, and release Lubrication Systems documentation including Product Manuals, System Manuals, User guides, Technical Specs, Release Notes etc. to assure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to language and STE (Simplified Technical English) standards.
This role demands a keen eye for detail, not only in checking for grammar and composition issues but also in contributing to the creation of high-quality technical documentation.
Roles & Responsibilities
Create/update product manuals and maintenance of existing documents.
Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
Illustrate the parts drawing by using illustration tools.
Work on content management systems.
Collaborate with global stakeholders to comprehend complex concepts and articulate them in a clear and concise manner.
Conduct rigorous quality assurance activities to uphold the highest standards in technical documentation.
Actively participate in peer reviews, contributing to the overall improvement of document quality.
Collaborate closely with Team Lead and subject matter experts to validate technical content and documentation processes.

Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, XML authoring (Arbortext/Madcap Flare etc.)
Additional skills
Adobe photoshop
CAD tools such as Solidworks, Pro E, Catia, etc
Candidate Background and competencies
Education & Experience
BE/B tech or equivalent degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
3-5 years of experience as a Senior Technical Writer skill.
Experience in industrial equipment and systems comprising of Mechanical, Electronics and Software functionality will be a plus.
