Senior Technical Writer

Atlanta, GA

Position Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Technical Writer with at least 4 years of experience who will play a crucial role in creating engaging and comprehensive documentation. This position involves collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams to ensure our documentation meets the highest standards of clarity and usability.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams to produce high-quality product documentation tailored to the needs of diverse audiences.Write, edit, and enhance new and existing content, ensuring consistency and clarity across all documentation.Independently gather information and insights from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and author procedure manuals, technical specifications, API documentation, installation guides, and release notes.Effectively manage multiple projects for various products, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to tight deadlines.Continuously improve documentation processes and standards to enhance efficiency and content quality.Conduct content reviews and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to ensure documents align with project requirements and audience needs.Maintain a strong understanding of our products, using this knowledge to create clear and concise documentation that empowers users.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.A minimum of 4 years of experience in technical writing, preferably with experience in SaaS or software products.Demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate documentation for a technical audience.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a simple and understandable manner.Proficiency in using documentation tools and software, such as Markdown, XML, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar.Familiarity with API documentation and software development processes is highly desirable.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
