The Senior Technical Support Specialist Life Sciences EMEAI (f/m/d) is responsible for the 2nd level support of our customer support functions in the EMEAI region.
This position reports to the Technical Support Manager EMEAI and is part of the Global Service organization, located in Vienna and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Assist field service engineers with troubleshooting the most difficult problems in high pressure situations; Communicates regularly with customers and field service engineers to learn about their business challenges and requirementsConduct formal in house and external field service, distributor and customer trainings on special demand for new products.Managing Call Escalations - ability to identify, own and track any issues with an account, according to call escalation procedure, to reach resolution.Internal and external customer satisfaction in all aspects of the job. Increased through put, decreased downtime and regular upgrades. A clear advocate for the customer (internal and external) and a steward for the company, drives a sense of urgency to ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and with an emphasis on a “first time fix”.Continuous desire and demonstrated ability to advance knowledge on product, is use in the marketplace and it’s position relative to competitive products.The essential requirements of this job include:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field.Several years of experience in a high-tech environment: electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical troubleshooting, theory and application.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent English (written and oral), an additional language would be an asset.Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (between 20-40%).The collective agreement for employees and apprentices in commercial enterprises applies to the advertised position. The average yearly gross salary is € 75.000,- depending on experiences. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
