Senior Technical Support Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience in providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for enterprise applications and middleware technologies. The role requires expertise in UNIX, databases, middleware, and scripting to ensure smooth operations and optimal system performance. Responsibilities: + Provide technical support and troubleshooting for UNIX/Linux systems and related applications. + Manage and maintain MySQL, MonetDB, and Postgres DB environments, including backups, performance tuning, and security. + Support and troubleshoot WebSphere Application Servers (WAS) and other middleware technologies. + Handle Analytic Servers and ensure smooth integration with enterprise applications. + Work with Active Directory (AD) and LDAP for authentication and user management. + Provide support for UNIFY and ensure its seamless operation within the system architecture. + Develop Key and execute Shell scripting (Linux) for automation and system monitoring. + Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining ASP.NET applications and related components. + Work with MS Suite (Software) and BIX (reporting) to generate and analyze business intelligence reports. + Manage FTP servers for secure data transfer and automation. + Provide support for third-party software solutions such as Dundas, Winovative, and Automat. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve system performance. + Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and best practices. + 5 to 10 years of experience in technical support, system administration, or related roles. + Experience in Active Directory (AD) and LDAP authentication. + Experience in Microsoft Azure. + Experience in database fundamentals and SQL. + Experience in Shell scripting (Linux) and automation. + Knowledge of ASP.NET applications and Microsoft technologies. + Knowledge of Databricks and Data Factory. + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Educational Qualifications: + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. + Certifications in Linux, WebSphere, or database management would be an added advantage. + Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus. + Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident and change management.
