Senior Technical Services Manager - Equine
**The Position** Seize the unique opportunity to grow and advance our leadership in equine innovation, leveraging your first-class knowledge and experience in equine disease management. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping a customer-centric, innovative portfolio roadmap, collaborating with both internal and external experts to establish scientific leadership. If you're passionate about bringing innovations to our equine customers and improving the lives of horses and the ones who love and care for them, you'll thrive in defining the technical orientation and strategy of our brands, working closely with our Equine Franchise Managers. **Tasks & responsibilities** + You will be responsible for the development of the technical positioning of the brands and scientifically launch plans as well as for the co-creation of the Equine Integrated Portfolio Plan. + Furthermore, you will develop and lead technical LCM, trials, post marketing authorization data for the brand and develop the technical orientation and support the building of the brand strategy. + Additionally, you will support the creation of Development Product Profile for Pipeline Products and contribute/update existing Target Product Profiles of the in-line portfolio (LCM) brands in collaboration with the Equine Senior Pipeline Manager and Equine Franchise Managers, respectively. + Your lateral leadership skills will help you to foster and liaise with other functions (GI, GS GCB, BD&L, etc.) for brand related topics, in close collaboration with the Equine Senior Pipeline Manager and Equine Franchise Managers. + You will champion the education, training and management on technical aspects of our local technical teams, external KEEs and key accounts, esp. for launch of new products. + Also, you will liaison with ROPU/OPU, internal PV and authorities in regards to technical or PV related topics + Finally, you will closely track and monitor the success of the scientific brand strategy and respective internal and external stakeholder communications and management. **Requirements** + Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent qualification + Serval years of practical veterinary expertise in the management and prevention of Equine diseases is essential + Full understanding of Equine species therapies, economic situation and developing needs of the Equine Health industry is also necessary + Scientific training and experience in trial design, analysis, and interpretation + General marketing skills and understanding of business concepts and go-to market models + Strong relationship building and collaboration with Internal stakeholders as well as with KEES, Vet customers, Key accounts, Equine Health Professionals and Horse owners + First class interpersonal communication skills enabling to operate professionally and effectively at all levels + Very good command of English; additional languages (e.g. German, French) are a plus **Ready to contact us?** If you have any questions about the job posting or process - please contact our HR Direct Team, Tel: +49 (0) 6132 77-3330 or via mail: hr.de@boehringer-ingelheim.com Recruitment process: Step 1: Online application - The job posting is presumably online until 27th of May 2025 Step 2: Virtual meeting in the period from 19th until 30th of May 2025 Step 3: On-site interviews 12th until 18th of June 2025 All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to a person’s actual or perceived race, including natural hairstyles, hair texture and protective hairstyles; color; creed; religion; national origin; age; ancestry; citizenship status, marital status; gender, gender identity or expression; sexual orientation, mental, physical or intellectual disability, veteran status; pregnancy, childbirth or related medical condition; genetic information (including the refusal to submit to genetic testing) or any other class or characteristic protected by applicable law.
