Senior Technical Project ManagerWhat does a successful Senior Technical Project Manager do at Fiserv?
You will have the opportunity to partner with key business stakeholders to ensure a successful start-up and completion of each project that may span across multiple business units or functional areas. You will work to plan, coordinate, and monitor larger scale scope & budget projects with a high degree of complexity and risk.
What you will do:
Ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project deliveryProvide a complete view of the overall project to the organization and all stakeholdersExhibit proactive behavior by engaging in all project planning activitiesDefine project governance outlining roles and responsibilities and decision rightsEnsure success criteria defined upfront to promote alignment and actively manage to expected project outcomesKeep internal and external stakeholders engaged in the project, aligned on expected outcomes, and informed about what is occurring throughout the projectProactively communicate the project’s progress on an on-going basis, ensuring transparency throughout project lifecycleProvide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisionsWhat you will need to have:
6+ years of previous project management and/or relevant consulting experience6+ years of experience in driving large scale change efforts with demonstrated knowledge in project management processes and methodologies5+ years of experience with matrix management of cross-functional processes and teams5+ years of experience influencing and stakeholders, with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships and strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and customers across Fiserv to maximize program effectivenessBachelor’s degree in business, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experienceWhat would be great to have:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationExperience in banking, financial services, and/or software industriesFamiliarity with project management toolsAbility to practically apply project management concepts to facilitate the achievement of business objectives ensuring predictable, consistent, and successful program deliveryExperience delivering projects related to enterprise level cyber securityPerks at work:
