As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating our current processes and systems and proposing solutions to improve their efficiency and effectiveness in supporting YouTube's rapid growth and product launches. You will also be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams across Google to forecast capacity needs, ensure efficient resource utilization, drive financial accountability, and minimize operational overhead. You will play a crucial role in enabling YouTube's success and ensuring that our infrastructure is optimized to meet the demands of our growing platform.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Lead projects in the Machine Learning (ML) and standard compute space while working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate with cross-functional partners.
+ Analyze usage trends and partner with engineers to estimate and acquire resources for feature launches while adhering to financial objectives.
+ Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on technical and financial trade-offs in data center resource management (e.g., compute, storage, networking, Machine Learning (ML) and Emmy-winning video encoding infrastructure).
+ Partner with software engineer to design and build tooling to help scale the planning process. Triage resource requests to fund new launches, system-migrations, and infrastructure projects while maintaining appropriate supply buffers.
+ Work closely with Google's Infrastructure teams to understand pricing stability, new hardware roll out and adoption plans, and establish partnerships with supplier teams to determine the right solution.
