Title: Senior Technical Program Manager
Location: 101 Main Street, Cambridge, MA 02142
Duties: Conduct requirements analysis by gathering requirements and working with software development teams to convert requirements into technical design specifications and develop architecture to meet business objectives. Write functional and technical specifications for software. Analyze change specifications and their impact. Drive software development efforts and manage priorities for project or program completion. Understand service interdependencies and lead cross-functional teams towards technical solutions for multi-tiered systems. Create schedules, identify, and communicate risks to stakeholders, define risk mitigation strategies, and facilitate appropriate software engineering solutions. Manage cross-functional teams and third party-vendors for implementation of project or program requirements. Articulate program goals, desired outcomes, risks/issues, and mitigation plans. Communicate with senior management and cross-organizational leadership regarding complex project management. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience as a Project Lead, Project Manager, Program Manager, Software Engineer, or a related occupation.
Experience may be gained concurrently and must include two (2) years in each of the following:
- At least one of the following: .NET technologies, MVC, XML, Web Services, WCF, Ajax, SQL, Oracle, JavaScript, or jQuery
- Programming in Java, JavaScript, or C#
- Managing cross-functional teams
- Project management, resource management, or resource planning.
Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience.
