Senior Technical Program Manager, DC Power Utilization Management
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

We're seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the evolution of our data center build management platform. You'll oversee the transformation from our legacy system to a next-generation solution that serves as the single source of truth for build date management, from project initiation through service capacity readiness.

The successful candidate will drive standardization and integration of processes currently fragmented across multiple systems, emails, and spreadsheets. You'll work with cross-functional teams to establish unified workflows, automate manual processes, and provide comprehensive visibility across the entire build lifecycle.

In this role, you'll coordinate with 25+ milestone owner teams including construction, power & cooling, controls, and commissioning specialists. Your responsibilities will span managing complex dependencies across campus, site, and room-level projects while ensuring seamless integration with partner systems like Salesforce and Procore.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with proven ability to influence without authority. You'll need technical aptitude to understand mechanical/electrical engineering concepts, combined with program management expertise to drive schedule adherence and eliminate non-value-add activities. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying optimization opportunities and designing solutions that accelerate project delivery.

Required qualifications include experience with project management tools, data visualization platforms, and systems integration. Knowledge of data center operations and construction management is highly valuable. Most importantly, you should be comfortable with ambiguity and capable of driving clarity across competing priorities.

Success in this role means improving build predictability, reducing manual processes, and establishing standardized practices across global infrastructure delivery. You'll directly impact AWS's ability to efficiently deliver data center capacity at scale.

Experience with MS Office, MS Project and SharePoint required. Familiarity with Tableau, KanBan, Playbook, SQL and systems integration is a plus.

If you enjoy the challenges of deploying highly technical and innovative projects at massive scale, this job is for you!
