ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Senior Technical Program Manager will work with our Ad Tech and Marketing technology teams to help execute the technical strategy and roadmap for AdTech and Marketing Content systems that power personalized communications. You will work closely with Software Development Managers (SDMs) and Software Development Engineers (SDEs) to organize and plan new development and enhancement work. You will work with teams across Audible and Amazon to evangelize the marketing technology teams and ensure we have the capabilities and data to meet the current and future needs of the business. You will be a collaborator between the Product team and Audible dev teams to ensure that the data impacts are recognized and planned for. You will continue to look for process improvements both within the team as well as interfaces with other teams to bring efficiencies into the team’s work breakdown and prioritization.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will…
- Collaborate with various areas of the business to manage multiple projects effectively
- Partner closely with stakeholders and product managers to ensure successful software development launches from design to deployment
- Pursue technical excellence and proactively drive positive change in projects
- Communicate project risks, progress, launches, and retrospectives to all stakeholders and teams with confidence and transparency
- Continuously strive to raise performance standards using objective metrics

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of Technical Program Management experience
- Experience with project and stakeholder management

- Ability to lead and influence others
- Independently driven, resourceful, and able to deliver results with minimal direction
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with engineering, product management, and senior business leaders
- Sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
- Senior-level written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent object oriented analysis and design skills (OOA/OOD)
- Experience with test and behavior driven development
- Good understanding of Continuous Integration and Deployment processes
