senior technical product manager, Supply Chain Sourcing

Now Brewing – Senior technical product manager, Sourcing and Procurement! #tobeapartner

From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and its rich traditions, but also brought a sense of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the strategy and delivery of digital products that transform sourcing and procurement within our global supply chain. This role requires deep expertise in Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, combined with a strong understanding of how sourcing connects to the broader supply chain—from manufacturing through logistics and store delivery. You will partner with engineering, sourcing, quality, and operations teams to deliver solutions that improve supplier collaboration, ensure compliance, and strengthen risk management across the network.
Key Responsibilities
•    Product Strategy & Roadmap
•    Define and execute a product vision for sourcing and procurement capabilities that align with business goals.
•    Prioritize initiatives that deliver measurable impact on cost, speed, compliance, and risk mitigation.
•    Sourcing & Procurement Expertise
•    Lead development of solutions for supplier onboarding, contract lifecycle management, purchase order automation, and compliance tracking.
•    Ensure best practices for S2C and P2P processes leveraging leading platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Icertis).
•    Compliance, Risk & Quality
•    Build capabilities to manage supplier compliance, food safety, quality assurance, and traceability across the supply chain.
•    Enable proactive risk monitoring and mitigation for regulatory compliance, ethical sourcing, and sustainability standards.
•    Systems Integration & Architecture
•    Design integration strategies between Sourcing, CLM, ERP, Procurement, Quality, and Risk systems to enable seamless data flow and visibility.
•    Partner with engineering to deliver scalable, secure, and interoperable solutions.
•    End-to-End Supply Chain Awareness
•    Understand how sourcing decisions impact manufacturing, inventory, logistics, and store delivery.
•    Build products that enable better upstream and downstream collaboration.
•    Execution & Results
•    Translate business needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
•    Measure success by business outcomes—cost savings, compliance adherence, supplier performance—not just feature delivery.
•    Industry & Innovation
•    Apply knowledge of QSR, Retail, CPG, or franchise-based supply chains to design solutions that fit complex, distributed networks.
•    Use technology thoughtfully to simplify processes and improve decision-making.

We’d love to hear from people with:
•    5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on sourcing, procurement, or supply chain systems.
•    Strong knowledge of S2C and P2P processes, platforms, and best practices.
•    Familiarity with integration strategies across sourcing, CLM, ERP, quality, and risk systems.
•    Experience in QSR, Retail, CPG, or franchise-based supply chains preferred.
•    Proven ability to set strategy, influence stakeholders, and deliver measurable results.
