Your mission, roles and responsibilitieso Support draft of the design considering FEA and Durability targets (both FCM and
Customer)
o Understand the engineering BOM & drawings and prepare FE models
o Integrate provided FE models from supplier, customers, and competitors
o Create FE models according to measured or supplied data, and ensure mesh
quality as per FCM/customer specifications
o Validate the integrity of the FE model (by modal analysis) to meet targets for
quality and delivery metrics
o Define boundary conditions, loads and simulation parameters as per
FCM/customer specification or measurement data
o Perform FE-simulations for the design validation
o Verify the simulation output and simulation results
o Technical report preparation and presentation to Team manager/AFO
o Work actively in the extended product development core team
o Support and provide simulation results for measurement and testing & update the
FE-simulation based on measurement and test results
o Provide design solutions for product improvement with respect to durability and
NVH limits and targets
o Maintain, track quality & on time delivery metrics for all work requests of self
o Quality review of the simulations executed by FEA engineers, GETs and PGETs
o Support and / or active participation in international professional networks in FCM
(incl. documentation)
o Identify and share the lessons learned and best practices
o Support in preparation of training plan, execute trainings, measure effectiveness
o Mentor team members and Interns
o Prioritize quality and delivery failures, performing Line QRCI to identify root causes
o Prepare preventive and corrective actions plan to address the root causes
derived from Line QRCi
o Executing preventive and corrective actions
