Senior Technical Engineer
_Are you ready to join a growing team?_ **CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Technical Engineer opening for our client in New York.** **Location:** Remote **Duration:** 5 months **Overview:** CTG is seeking a Certified CyberArk Engineer to join a high-performing Agile Engineering team. The ideal candidate is a team player who can hit the ground running and deliver innovative, automation-focused solutions. Occasional after-hours support for changes or application support may be required. This role is responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and efficient solutions in support of the client’s Privileged Access Management (PAM) and infrastructure initiatives. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Lead the design, development, and execution of technical solutions aligned with business and operational goals. + Deliver infrastructure architecture and design, R&D for new or existing systems, standards and policy creation, and requirements analysis. + Develop and maintain source control, CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, and PowerShell scripts in support of PAM solutions. + Collaborate with business partners and technical teams to ensure solutions meet user needs and regulatory requirements. + Mentor and coach less experienced technical staff. + Engage vendors and manage external resources as needed. + Ensure the adoption of industry best practices and internal policies. + Maintain expert-level knowledge of supporting applications, development environments, and client ecosystems. **Scope of Responsibilities:** + Contribute to and influence technical strategy and architecture. + Develop documentation, solution specifications, and provide technical leadership. + Stay up-to-date with trends in Financial Services, cybersecurity, and infrastructure technologies. + Maintain compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and risk policies. + Participate in project estimation, planning, and budgeting activities. + Represent the M&T Bank brand by promoting diversity and professional excellence. **Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:** Not Applicable. **Education and Experience Required:** + Combined minimum of 12 years higher education and/or experience in systems design, infrastructure management, and/or architecture. + Experience with: + **Privileged Access Management (PAM)** – CyberArk Privileged Cloud + **CI/CD pipelines** – Git/GitLab + **REST API development** + **PowerShell scripting** + **Active Directory** + Strong understanding of IT Service Management, infrastructure lifecycle, and systems design. **Education and Experience Preferred:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. + Minimum 12 years in advanced technical engineering roles. + Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into structured, high-quality solutions. + Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. + Expertise with client/server and virtual technologies. + Experience with project estimation and budget management. + Verifiable industry/vendor certifications related to the role. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $74.35 to $123.90/hourly. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
