We are seeking an experienced Baseband Technical Coordinator to join the Systems organization in RAN Performance PEG1. This role requires extensive knowledge of 5G RAN networks, baseband systems, and system-level verification. The ideal candidate will have the ability to collaborate with technical counterparts in market areas and customers, leading task forces for upcoming KPI and MIMO performance-related activities with key customers.
What you will do: Align and drive a common understanding and prioritization of requirements between Baseband SW and surrounding SW.Interface with strategic product management on product requirements and technical issues at the program level, translating customer needs into requirements.Support Program Managers with technical issues.Identify technology enablers for Baseband SW and contribute to the technology strategy.Define critical test cases and develop an overall test strategy that includes feature interactions.Mentor, coach, and grow team members to enhance the overall system and troubleshooting competence level globally.Monitor and analyze market needs and trends, as well as competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, and strategies.What you will bring: Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science or equivalent7+years of related experienceDeep technical expertise in 5G Baseband systems and testing, including 3GPP standards, relevant algorithms, and implementation experience, particularly with Ericsson’s gNodeB product.Proven track record in leading technical staff, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop expert-level engineers.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.Ability to operate and lead effectively in a global matrix environment.Familiarity with Ericsson’s internal R&D processes and collaboration frameworks.Customer engagement and technical task force experience in 4G/5G Baseband environments.Join our Team About this opportunity:

Your Pay
The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson’s Group Retirement & Savings Program offers an automatic 2% company contribution into the Pension Plan. Ericsson also offers a 50% match of employee’s contribution into the Registered Retirement Savings Plan, up to 8% of the employee’s contribution (maximum of 4% match). This leads to a total company contribution potential of 6%. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term disability coverage. Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 18 days of accrued vacation, 3-5 personal days (depending on role), 10 holidays, 1 volunteer day, and unlimited sick days. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 10 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
