The AB Third Party (AB3P) Integrations team seeks an strategic Business Development Manager who can identify and execute transformative partnerships that will shape the future of B2B commerce through Amazon Business APIs. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your expertise to build and scale our partner ecosystem, focusing on high-impact opportunities that drive mutual growth and innovation. Operating at the intersection of technology and enterprise solutions, you'll develop and execute partnership strategies that expand our market presence while creating substantial value for our partners.
You'll bring a proven track record of structuring and closing enterprise-level partnerships, along with deep experience in solution-based selling. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll align partnership strategies with product capabilities, ensuring successful integration and adoption of our APIs.
Your ability to build and maintain C-suite relationships, coupled with your understanding of technical solutions, will be crucial for success. We need someone who can translate complex technical capabilities into compelling business value propositions while maintaining a deep understanding of partner needs and market dynamics. Your entrepreneurial mindset and data-driven approach will help drive the next generation of B2B commerce through strategic partnerships and innovative business models.
Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess a proven record of accomplishment building or growing a partner ecosystem with 3rd Party Integrators (3PIs). The candidate will have a keen ability to convey and deliver compelling value propositions, technical integration methods, go-to-market motions, and value-exchange mechanisms to senior leaders (CxO/VP) externally. Lastly, the candidate understands how to build deep, trusted, relationships with partners to align and execute on shared goals that generate joint success.
* Initiate, develop, and oversee relationships with our most-strategic internal partners and our executive sponsors.
* Understand the needs of our Selling Partners and influence or grow our technology partners to address those needs.
* Manage complex relationships and business and technical requirements.
* Work with internal and cross functional teams to create and execute on strategic API business plans, inclusive of innovative demand generation, strategic GTM activities, and co-marketing campaigns,
* Drive results through business reviews to manage progress against a business plan.
* Implement programmatic mechanisms with key internal stakeholders that will allow us to operate at scale.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
