Senior Tax Analyst - Property Tax Data and Technology

In this role, you will:

Prepare comprehensive tax work papers, perform complex account analysis and look for improvements in policies and procedures for the maintenance of tax-related recordsPerform the most complex tax accounting activities related to the preparation of federal, state and local tax returns or the financial statement accounting for income taxesPerform analysis of complex transactions and research opportunities to minimize income taxes and management of income tax risksEvaluate issues and apply sound business judgmentEnsure timely and accurate filing of tax returns or consultation on assigned income tax issuesPerform tax researchManage one or more tax professionals and provide functional advice, direction or trainingProvide guidance to less experienced staff regarding established tax policiesUnderstand one or more areas of tax lawCollect and communicate information in response to inquiries from federal and state income tax auditorsDevelop relationships with business units to support their business needs and objectivesProvide consultation and advice on complex income tax issuesManage tax data movement between systems, data validation, system testing, and workflow administration


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Corporate Tax experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Proficient in Excel – ability to utilize VLOOKUP’s, macros, and run large data set analysisExperience using PTMS (Property Tax Made Simple) for data import and exportInfoLease experienceSQL or Database knowledgeAdvanced SharePoint skillsPowerBI, BusinessObjects, ThoughtSpot or other data servicesExperience with software requirement writing and testingExperience with managing tax data movement between systems, data validation, system testing, and workflow administrationExperience with filing and paying personal property taxesExperience working with personal property taxes in different jurisdictions and states


Job Expectations:

This position may be located at one of the posted locations listed below and other locations will not be considered.Ability to work a hybrid schedule, three (3) days in office and two (2) days remote.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$87,000.00 - $154,000.00
