Description
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you’ll be instrumental in managing federal and state corporate tax compliance, tax provision reporting, and strategic tax planning. You’ll collaborate across departments, leverage cutting-edge tax technology, and contribute to high-impact projects that shape our financial future.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare federal and state corporate income tax returns, estimates, extensions, and provisions using CORPTAX.
Lead tax compliance initiatives with a focus on automation and efficiency.
Conduct in-depth tax research on diverse issues including IRC, state income tax, sales tax, international tax, and manufacturing accounting methods.
Assist with quarterly and annual tax provision calculations and reporting.
Respond to IRS and state tax authority inquiries and audits.
Stay current on evolving tax laws and regulations impacting the business.
Support indirect tax functions including sales and property tax compliance.
Manage fixed assets using SAGE and prepare tangible property tax returns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support tax planning and special projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
What You Bring -
6-8 Years of Progressive Experience in Corporate Tax Accounting.
Big 4 Public Accounting Experience, specifically within Tax.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s in Taxation or Accounting preferred). CPA Certification is Preferred.
Proficiency in CORPTAX or similar programs, advanced Excel skills, & large ERP experience (SAP preferred).
Excellent time management, accountability, and collaboration skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
