Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to take on challenging work, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the continued success of our award-winning firm. The ideal candidate will have extensive public accounting experience and a passion for providing exceptional client service.

Key ResponsibilitiesTax Preparation & ReviewPrepare and review complex corporate, partnership, and individual tax returnsIdentify tax implications and planning opportunities for clientsResearch tax issues and provide technical guidance to clients and staffEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulationsReview junior staff work and provide mentorship and guidanceClient Service & Relationship ManagementServe as primary contact for assigned clients during tax season and year-roundCommunicate tax strategies and recommendations to clients clearly and effectivelyRespond to client inquiries and provide timely, accurate adviceParticipate in client meetings and presentations as neededBuild and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional servicePractice Development & LeadershipMentor and train junior accounting staffAssist in developing tax department processes and proceduresParticipate in firm marketing and business development activitiesStay current on tax law changes and industry best practicesContribute to the firm's continued growth and reputationRequired QualificationsEducation & CertificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMaster's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferredCPA license, CPA Candidate, or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation requiredMinimum 6-10 years of current public accounting experienceTechnical SkillsStrong experience with preparation and review of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returnsDemonstrated ability to identify client tax implications and planning opportunitiesHighly proficient with QuickBooks and/or other similar bookkeeping software packagesExperience with ProSystem fx Tax, Fixed Assets & Research, or similar tax preparation and research softwareStrong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteCore CompetenciesExceptional attention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesEnthusiastic, conscientious, dedicated, ethical, and a team playerLeadership skills with ability to mentor junior staff F1154329-LK_1752668411 To Apply for this Job Click Here
