Senior Tax Accountant
Description Join a growing and dynamic tax team serving businesses, individuals, and trusts. We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to provide high-quality tax preparation and advisory services in a client-focused, collaborative environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients year-round, offering proactive tax planning and strategic guidance. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, individuals, and trusts (forms 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120S, and 1120). + Conduct tax research and provide planning strategies to support compliance and optimize outcomes. + Act as a resource for clients on tax matters, including estimated payments, entity structure, and compliance considerations. + Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and address complex tax issues. + Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and proactive service throughout the year. + Manage multiple client engagements and ensure timely and accurate completion of work, especially during peak periods. + Support the development of team members through knowledge sharing and review of tax work. + Participate in meetings with clients and internal teams to communicate tax strategies and review engagement scopes. + Stay informed on changes in tax laws and regulations and relay relevant updates to clients and colleagues. SALARY RANGE: $110,00.00-$170,000.00 BENEFITS OFFERED: + Healthcare Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision + Other Insurance: Life insurance Disability insurance + Retirement Plan: 401k with company match + PTO: 2 weeks PTO Requirements To apply, must be a CPA or EA with 5+ years full-time experience with tax return preparation. • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns for businesses, individuals, and trusts. • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws, with the ability to conduct effective tax research. • Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and apply tax regulations effectively. • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships and provide exceptional service. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Experience mentoring and training staff at the entry level to ensure accuracy and compliance in their work. • Commitment to staying informed about changes in tax laws and their implications.
