Credence has an immediate need for a Senior Task Manager expected to start Late Summer 2025.
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Task Manager to lead and manage complex IT projects and services within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force enterprise environments. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in IT management, cybersecurity, and federal governance frameworks.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Lead and oversee large-scale IT management services and projects, ensuring alignment with DoD and Air Force objectives.Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, timely, and cost-effective solutions.Ensure compliance with DoD policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and performance metrics.Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior team members.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.Support cybersecurity initiatives in alignment with IAM/IAT Level 3 standards. Education, Requirements and Qualifications Active TS/SCI Security Clearance requiredEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.Certification: CISSP or equivalent IAM or IAT Level 3 certification.Experience: Minimum of 8 years of IT management experience, including:Leading progressively larger and more complex IT projects for the DoD, other federal agencies, or Fortune 400 organizations.Demonstrated experience with Air Force or DoD enterprise infrastructure, governance, policies, and procedures.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in a related field.PMP or equivalent project management certification.Familiarity with Agile or DevSecOps methodologies.Experience with enterprise architecture and cloud migration strategies.
