This role is a 2 months contract to start with.
The Senior Systems Integrator plays a pivotal role in maintaining the operational integrity and security posture of our proprietary data protection and scanning software across hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructures. As a recognized technical authority, this individual brings deep expertise in DataStealth and a suite of critical security and compliance tools—including OneTrust, Palo Alto Networks (Prisma Cloud), ServiceNow, AWS, and GCP—to architect and implement seamless integrations across our diverse technology landscape. Serving as the technical cornerstone between development, security, and operations, this role drives strategic integration initiatives that enhance system resilience, compliance, and performance across the enterprise.
• Integration Leadership (Multi-Tool, Agile & Hybrid Cloud/On-Premise): Orchestrates complex integrations of our data protection/scanning software with existing systems and infrastructure.
• Leveraging DataStealth, OneTrust, Palo Alto Networks, and ServiceNow across cloud (AWS, GCP) and on-premise environments.
• Directs projects within Agile, ensuring security/compliance and establishing integration standards.
• Solution Design & Implementation: Architects secure, scalable solutions, demonstrating deep tool expertise. Develops detailed technical documentation (API specs, sequence diagrams), scripts automation (Python, Bash), configures data protection policies for use with Datastealth.
• Knowledge Sharing: Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation. Serves as the team's technical authority, proactively disseminating expertise through presentations, code reviews, and training.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnoses and resolves intricate integration issues, utilizing advanced monitoring tools (log aggregation, performance monitoring). Escalates issues within Agile, performing root cause analysis and developing automated remediation scripts.
• Security & Compliance: Ensures integrations adhere to security best practices and regulatory mandates (PIPEDA, GDPR). Implements security controls (access control, encryption, vulnerability scanning) and uses regex for data protection policies.
• Testing & Validation: Executes rigorous testing across environments, automating where possible (unit, integration, performance tests) and participating in sprint testing.
• Continuous Improvement: Implements platform and integration enhancements. Researches emerging technologies (microservices, event-driven architecture) and participates in retrospectives.
• Mentorship: Mentors junior team members on tools, integration techniques, and Agile practices.
• Operational Support: Provides expert-level on-call support, rapidly troubleshooting and resolving production issues and developing runbooks.
• Agile & Jira Proficiency: Comfortable working in an Agile environment and proficient in Jira.
• The candidate must have experience working on Datastealth DSPM/ Palo Alto PRISMA DSPM experience
• Hands on experience on data identification techniques- Regular Expressions (Regex)
• Able to understand complex solutions, systems and Business/Systems needs;
• Able to quickly learn new topics/solutions/systems and gather pertinent information about them to help provide inputs, challenge ideas or proposed alternatives;
• Able to understand and work with many different technologies like Virtual Servers (Windows, Linux), Databases (MS-SQL, Oracle), Website, Network (ICN/DMZ), Firewall/WAF, Digital Certificates, Secure Connections (SFTP, HTTPS), encryption (TDE, DB encryption), etc.;
• Can easily gather key information between Business and Technical people and make sure the end solution will address these requirements;
• Able to translate solution into diagrams to help each team to better understand a solution;
• Monitor performance of solutions/systems to identify bottle necks or improvements required;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
