What You Will Do

As a LCE Senior Systems Engineer you will provide technical support to the LTAMDS Repair and Return (R&R) program. You will also support Spares Management activities as needed. This position is expected to eventually assume all responsibilities and move up into either role.

In this role you’ll execute in a highly dynamic environment as each repair needs to be individually tracked and adjudicated. You’ll coordinate and collaborate with the repair performing locations and across functional areas like supply chain and finance to provide the current status and technical direction as needed.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Perform budget and schedule analysis for all repairs.

Coordinate with supporting functions to move repair assets through the process.

Provide technical guidance on repairing or scrapping material

Work with quality to assess conformance issues

Consolidate and present weekly status of repairs, manage monthly contract deliverables.

Prepare and present metrics and status at internal and external program reviews

This job will be posted as On Site in Tewksbury, MA. Commuting costs to and from the named Raytheon facility are the responsibility of the incumbent.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience

Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or balancing technical, cost and schedule constraints to meet project or program deadlines and expectations

Experience with managing personnel, schedule, and/or budget within engineering

Qualifications We Prefer:

Proven leadership experience managing a multidisciplinary team while executing logistics, depot, and sustainment activities.

Certified in Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

Basis of Estimate Certification (BOE)

Technical Advisor – Export and Engineering Releasability

Demonstrated consistency, accountability and flexibility managing multiple and competing priorities.

Knowledge of product life cycle management

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
