CACI is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide high level gun weapon systems engineering support to the U.S. Navy. As an integral part of our highly experienced and capable team, you will be supporting a vital role of our customers to ensure Navy fleet gun weapon systems capability, supportability, and readiness.
The Opportunity:
• Provide high-level technical support for engineering projects that directly enhance the capabilities of our nation’s warfighters.
• Perform engineering design, technical analysis, and integration activities for multiple gun weapon systems.
• Support development of modifications and upgrades to improve capabilities, reliability, supportability, and safety of fielded equipment.
• Review and update technical documentation, to include engineering drawings, technical manuals, and test plans.
• Provide subject matter expert level analysis and recommendations to our technical team and our Navy customers to support mission requirements.
Qualifications: Required:
• U.S. Citizenship
• Active Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one)
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or other engineering discipline).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience providing engineering support for Department of Defense gun weapon systems, combat systems, or related equipment.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Advanced technical writing skills.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
Desired:
• Engineering experience directly related to Navy gun weapon systems design, integration, testing, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of DOD acquisition and support requirements, standards, and processes.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
