We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer – Solution Manager to provide Agile Solution Management of new change requests for a large-scale software and operating system modernization effort. In this role, you’ll work onsite in Aurora, CO, providing strategic direction and technical expertise to Agile development teams. Your in-depth knowledge of satellite command and control systems will be critical to driving mission success and delivering cutting-edge solutions. **What You Will Do** + Assume both financial and technical responsibility for the mission + Collaborate with Raytheon senior leadership, government customers, and technical Subject Matter Experts to manage system development + Oversee all aspects of the system, including architectural design, technical roadmap maintenance, and prioritization of requested functional capabilities **Qualifications You Must Have** + Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience + Experience decomposing system design + Experience with technical proposals and/or new business development + Agile software development experience in the role of Product Owner or Scrum Master **Qualifications We Prefer** + Proven ability to develop solutions that meet system performance, availability, and reliability constraints + Strong track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships across all organizational levels, including government customers, IPT leadership, technical leads, chief engineers, and system architects + Skilled in communicating status updates, identifying issues, and presenting resolution plans to key stakeholders—including Raytheon senior management, customers, and major subcontractors—while managing multiple concurrent project deliverables under tight deadlines + Experience with proven record of accomplishments + Experience with complex satellite ground systems, particularly previous deployment of developed systems to ground station operations **What We Offer:** + Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
