As a Sr. System Analyst, you’ll have the chance to in determining both support and process standards, engage with end users as well as vendors, and participate in change management driven quality testing and implementation activities. You’ll manage support operations, collaborate with quality and infrastructure teams, and address IT defects. **What You’ll Work On** + Supports the enterprise-wide infrastructure for Work In Progress and Finished Good labeling. + Applies and executes standard information systems theories, concepts and techniques and assists in the development of standards and procedures. + Partners with Corporate service providers to investigate alternatives, which use existing applications. + May conduct training. + Identifies and implements process improvements. + Independently conceives and develops testing strategies for quality validation efforts. + Exercises latitude in the approach to problem solving. Work is reviewed for soundness of business judgment and to determine if overall results and objectives have been achieved. Determines and develops approach to problem. + Medium/high complexity work. Errors or failure to achieve expected results may result in project delays or the expenditure of more resources than was planned. + Responsible for planning, developing, producing and updating technical and user documentation in electronic format. + Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. **Required Qualifications** + B.S. in Computer Science or similar engineering discipline + 5+ years of technical experience + Excellent communication and customer service skills. Able to bridge communication between technical areas + Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment. + Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects. + Training and experience in good test design; experience writing test cases and reviewing/approving the execution of those test cases + Experience in reviewing technical designs and providing feedback on whether the technical design satisfies functional specifications **Preferred Qualifications** + Microsoft SQL database + PLM experience (Windchill or similar) + Powershell scripting familiarity (no required level of expertise) + Highly regulated industry experience (Medical or similar) + Change management familiarity (ITIL standards using ServiceNOW or similar) Apply Now (https://www.jobs.abbott/us/en) * Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
