The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical infrastructure systems at Ventas. The administrator is responsible for ensuring the availability and consistent performance of Ventas infrastructure. This person in this position is a member of the IT Infrastructure team and will also assist with day-to-day systems management responsibilities, including managing critical on-premise and cloud data center systems.
Responsibilities
Cloud Technologies: Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. Experience with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is essential.Backup and Recovery Systems: Develop, implement, and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. Perform regular testing of backup and recovery processes.Windows Patch Management: Oversee the deployment of Windows updates and patches across the organization. Ensure systems are up-to-date and secure by managing patch cycles and addressing vulnerabilities promptly.System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Perform regular maintenance to ensure systems are running efficiently.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes. Generate reports on system performance, security incidents, and other relevant metrics.Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to support organizational goals and projects. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users as needed.Requirements
