A day in the life.

As a Senior Systems Administrator within the Platform Services team, you will be a key technical resource supporting a suite of enterprise insurance and agency management applications. While Applied Systems (Epic) will be your primary focus, you will also support other critical systems such as Sagitta and Vertafore’s ImageRight. You will collaborate closely with Agency Management Program leads, IT, and operational stakeholders across MMA to ensure the effective support, integration, and ongoing optimization of these platforms. Your role involves providing expert technical support, assisting with system migrations, and contributing to platform enhancements to meet organizational needs.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

5+ years of in-depth technical experience supporting enterprise insurance and agency management systems, including Applied Systems (Epic and TAM), Sagitta, and Vertafore’s ImageRight.

Assist with system configuration, upgrades, and performance tuning to ensure optimal operation.

Support system integrations, API management, and data exchange between platforms and third-party applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate system migrations, consolidations, and upgrades.

Serve as a subject matter expert in Applied Systems (Epic) and other AMS platforms, providing guidance and best practices to support system optimization and user needs.

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, fostering their professional development and ensuring best practices in system support and administration.

Stay current with system updates, new features, and industry best practices to recommend improvements.

Perform daily system monitoring, maintenance, and administration tasks to ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance of Applied Systems (Epic), Sagitta, and Vertafore’s ImageRight.

Manage user access, permissions, and security settings, including troubleshooting login issues and ensuring compliance with data privacy standards.

Provide Level 2-3 support for Applied Systems (Epic), Sagitta, Vertafore’s ImageRight, and other related platforms, including advanced troubleshooting, issue escalation, and coordination with vendors or technical teams to ensure timely resolution.

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience (preferred).

Familiarity with Applied’s suite of tools such as CSR24, Indio, Applied Pay, and other integrated solutions to support comprehensive agency management and client service workflows.

Experience with system migrations between different AMS solutions such as Sagitta, Vertafore, and other enterprise insurance platforms, including data mapping, cleansing, and ensuring data integrity throughout the migration process.

Experience supporting system integrations, data consolidation, and platform support during mergers and acquisitions within the insurance industry.

Hands-on experience managing cloud servers and infrastructure, including provisioning, configuration, scaling, and performance optimization in platforms such as Azure, AWS, or other cloud providers.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $97,900 to $171,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
