Responsibilities Assist with the modernization of multiple critical, revenue-facing IT services to enable and support key business outcomes. Assist in the development of strategic roadmaps for infrastructure services, defining service delivery plans and performance metrics in collaboration with business partners. Oversee service delivery and reporting for critical functions (e.g., endpoint security, DNS, Active Directory), ensuring alignment with SLAs, while the operations team handles day-to-day administration. Coordinate with the operations team to provide strategic guidance, demonstrating service design principles to enhance client satisfaction and service performance. Ensure security, compliance, and system performance by analyzing telemetry data to proactively identify improvements and meet SLAs. Partner with multi-functional teams, including development, operations, and business collaborators, to integrate new functions and drive adoption of standard processes. Apply knowledge of service design and operations to align infrastructure services with client and business requirements. Provide technical leadership, documenting solutions and guiding peers through complex challenges and transitions. Qualifications 5+ years of systems administration and DevOps experience in large-scale IT environments, with expertise in: Design and management of Windows/Unix administration, Active Directory, DNS, virtualization, and cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP). Automation and scripting using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python, and PowerShell. Designing and overseeing critically important, revenue-facing services with a focus on security, performance, and high availability. Proven experience developing roadmaps and service delivery plans for Windows Active Directory, DNS, and Unix environments within an as-a-service model. Basic knowledge of service design and operations, including service catalog development, SLAs, and client-focused service delivery. Basic experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, including containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code practices. Familiarity with backup and recovery tools (e.g., Rubrik, Veritas NetBackup) and enterprise storage solutions (e.g., EMC, NetApp) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability, with the ability to learn and implement new technologies quickly. Excellent communication and technical documentation skills. AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps) is highly preferred; Azure, GCP and other certifications are a bonus. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
