About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer with extensive expertise in AWS, CDN (CloudFront), Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS), and strong troubleshooting capabilities. The ideal candidate will design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. They will play a pivotal role in automating deployments, managing CI/CD pipelines, and resolving intricate technical challenges across distributed systems.
Responsibilities
As an Senior System Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFront (CDN), VPC, IAM, and RDS.
Your primary duties will include developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud provisioning. You will also be responsible for deploying, scaling, and optimizing Kubernetes (EKS or self-managed) clusters for containerized applications.
Additionally, you will configure and troubleshoot CloudFront (CDN) to enhance performance, caching, and global content delivery. You will monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
Collaboration with DevOps and development teams will be essential to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment workflows. You will also implement security best practices for cloud and containerized environments.
Furthermore, you will provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a deep expertise in AWS
Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS, Helm, K8s manifests), and CDN (CloudFront)
Knowledge in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation and troubleshooting
Solid understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and security best practices
Exposure to monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving performance bottlenecks and outages
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment
