The AT&T CWAN for our Virginia Program Office (VPO) has an opening for a seasoned leader with broad depth of IT background to join the team. The support role is fully inclusive to the required experience of a seasoned professional with a broad background to support the overall system of services that include but not limited to the networking, compute/ virtual infrastructure operations, phone support systems and new technology integration. The team is also responsible for the day-to-day compliance for security and general user administration. This individual will provide position level leadership within the operations of integration, configuration, deployment, security remediation, and operations of AT&T Managed CWAN Services for VPO business unit.
Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Key understanding of Linux based operating systems: Red Hat, Centos, VMware, KVMMulti-platform support surrounds OEM appliances very helpful in team operations for both Windows and Linux based. Ability to build and guide junior and mid-level staffing in best practices for installation / operationsVMware Systems Administration (vFAMILY – vCenter, vSphere of products to include Horizon EUC) in virtual operations.Patching and remediation of monitored systems and networks with a greater teamTiered 3+ service support typically interfaced with customer Tier 2 (AT&T staffing in support of programs)IT Service delivery, assurance, and operationsAssist in the development of a new shared services (product deployments, customized solutions based on distinct requirements)Ability to Program / Script - Linux based Bash & Windows PowerShell with support of other script/languages as required for deployment / support of embedded applications and broad aspect administrationSecurity operations and accreditation key to the operational turn up is required to address accreditation processesRequired Clearance

Required Qualifications:
Must be a US CitizenBachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Virtualization, Windows and Linux Computing solution engineering and architecture solutionsExperience with on premise, cloud and hybrid-cloud based deploymentsUS citizenship is required; able to obtain and retain federal security clearanceStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated leader with team-oriented interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interface with a broad range of people and rolesDesired Qualifications:
Active Cleared Individual clearance supporting the overall business up to TS/SCI/PolyCISSP, Virtual Certifications key (DoDD 8570/ DoDD 8140)Experience with ITSM and/or ServiceNowComparable VMware certifications, RHCE, MS Certifications, Security Certs in general to IAT/IAM levels 1-3Working knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and basic endpoint security principlesExperience with automation of systems reports and administrative toolsVMware virtualization both in the standard hypervisor and in VDIOur Senior System Engineer's earn between $120,000 -$180,000.
