Job Title: Senior System Analyst
Shift: 2 PM – 11 PM IST
Support: Weekend server maintenance as needed

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automation scripts and backend utilities in a Linux environment.

Work with REST APIs and script using Python, Shell, or Bash.

Use Splunk for log analysis, dashboards, and operational insights.

Write and optimize SQL queries for analytics and operations.

Troubleshoot systems and perform root cause analysis across applications and infrastructure.

Promote best practices in scripting, logging, and ing.

Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews.

Participate in sprint planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

2+ years of experience with Linux scripting and system administration.

Strong skills in Bash, Shell, or Python.

Expertise in writing and tuning complex SQL queries.

Familiarity with cron jobs, system monitoring, and log parsing.

Experience with Git or similar version control tools.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

Experience with Apigee API Management.

Cloud exposure, especially AWS.

Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, Ansible).

Background in domains like insurance or healthcare.

Other Requirements

Comfortable working 2–11 PM IST.

Available for occasional weekend maintenance support.

Basic knowledge of ServiceNow, JIRA, and Apigee.

Experience with Windows, UNIX, and Linux environments.
