THE WORK
The Midway program in King of Prussia, PA is looking for an experienced professional to support the Sustainment effort for the program. Midway is a rapid fielding program, which requires the ability to shift priorities as necessary for successful results. The successful candidate selected would be part of the Global Sustainment team supporting equipment and hardware sustainment activities. The candidate will support the logistics and sustainment tasks of new systems, and the sustainment of exiting fielded systems. As a Sustainment Engineer, you will be responsible for driving logistics and sustainment support for depot and field level operations, working closely with various functional groups to meet customer commitments and program growth objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Executing decisions on repairs to ensure promised delivery dates for customer commitments
• Ensuring efficient process flow throughout repair and shipping processes
• Providing timely communication and execution of logistics or supply activities to support repairs
• Capturing and improving procedures to support process growth and lifecycle cost affordability
• Proactively planning for and supporting spares and repair parts requirements, balancing inventory and mission needs
• Performing annual physical inventory and reconciliation of GFE repair parts/tools
• Supporting management of obsolete hardware, proposal requests, and provisioning determinations
• Providing accurate reporting and tracking of depot metrics
Position is full time in the King of Prussia, PA facility. The candidate must be willing to relocate if not in this area. The candidate will be required to be in the facility when not on travel. However, there is flexibility on occasion to work from home with pre-coordination of the manager.

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Top-Secret Clearance
Familiarity with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements
Must be able to travel as needed, travel varies from 10% to 25% depending on priorities and deliveries
Desired Skills:
Highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with the ability to follow through on both internal and external commitments
Strong inter-personal skills, have the ability to work within a team, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience maintaining complex military systems
Ability to analyze and decipher wiring diagrams and schematics
Proven ability to troubleshoot, isolate, and repair systems utilizing technical data
Familiarity with depot and field level maintenance procedures and repair methods
Understanding of Supply Chain Management, production controls, and production planning
Experience documenting maintenance faults and corrective actions in a maintenance information system
Monitor system obsolescence reporting and track high-priority items to end-of-life
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
