Senior Supply Chain Solutions Manager

Responsible to manage integration of supply chain processes, system capabilities, sourcing initiatives, and centralized data to automate the flow of information between the planning, tensioning, contracting, tendering, etc. 

Projects and programs must deliver measurable and sustainable improvement in cost savings, cost avoidance/reduction and production improvement projects. Special focus automation and improvement projects for strategic sourcing analytics, expanded service provider performance management and global visibility standardization. Speed and quality of implementation is critical.

Additionally, act as the subject matter expert for Global Logistics cross functional projects and global modes of transportation. Develop and implement pivotal initiatives to improve cost, performance, and reliability of service providers.  Develop strong professional relationships with key strategic partners to ensure alignment between our organization and theirs.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Acquire consensus on objectives / priorities and ensure participation of the various Business Units, suppliers, executive sponsors and governance teams; Communicate progress thru periodic steering committee meetings; Proactively address any threats to the project success. Development of project plans, budget tracking, functional uses cases, new report requirements, software issue logs, etc. Global Implementation of new data standards. Participation in the overall global supply chain strategies to anticipate new opportunities within the future functionality of the system. Management of dedicated Enterprise project resources and cross-functional project teams. Work collaboratively with IT Project Manager and dedicated IT resources. Development and implementation of the business processes from standard methodologies vital to support the future strategic supply chain activities.  Evaluation of application readiness from third party software providers; Work with IT to communicate functional gaps and ensure future release are aligned with our overall implementation schedule. Work closely with business unit Logistics and Supply Chain Leaders across the corporation to identify specific opportunities and implement long term, balanced solutions to improve supply chain performance. Applying automation and analytical resources to develop and refine metrics for measuring the operational and cost performance of global logistics systems, projects, and SCO Tools.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related degree required Relevant years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or related field commensurate with the level of this role. Strong analytical, presentation, communication, and leadership experience. Excellent project management skills and ability to lead through influence.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and the future.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

10+ years Supply Chain, Operations or Logistics experience 5+ years’ experience in negotiation, online e-sourcing, contracting and cost forecasting  Experience in negotiation, online e-sourcing, contracting and cost forecasting.  Experience within a large matrix organization, leading large-scale projects  manage competing priorities, create structure and clarity with aggressive timelines.  - ambiguous projects Strong understanding and knowledge of IT systems, Azure, Cloud Analytics, SQL, etc.
