Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Supply Base Management Specialist (Level 4 or 5) to support the Phantom Works Team in Hazelwood, MO!

Position Responsibilities:  

Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectationsManages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performanceLeads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programsDevelops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategiesAnalyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategiesActs as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

More than 5 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.More than 5 years of experience drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts and sub-contractsMore than 5 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performanceMore than 5 years of experience in program management within supplier management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higherMore than 8 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMore than 8 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity.More than 8 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirementsMore than 8 years of experience with proposal development and contract negotiationsMore than 8 years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment

Additional Information:

Up to 25% travel required. May increase based on business needs.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Summary pay range:

Level 4: $102,850-$127,050

Level 5: $119,000 - $147,000
