Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Supplier Quality Auditor (SNQ) to evaluate supplier capability, performance, and potential using a risk management approach. This role plays a critical part in supporting supplier audits within North America, ensuring risks are identified, mitigated, and managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct supplier audits to evaluate capability, identify weaknesses, gaps, and potential risks.
Apply structured tools such as the Supplier Evaluation Model (SEM) for Automotive Purchasing (system audits).
Support and coach suppliers in collaboration with Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) to develop effective risk mitigation plans.
Calibrate and support lead auditors within the SQE organization by sharing best practices, ensuring consistent and robust audit outputs.
Prepare and present audit reports, ensuring accurate documentation and communication of findings.
Contribute as a senior team member by supporting supplier development and mentoring colleagues.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, or 5+ years of relevant technical experience (extensive experience may substitute for degree).
Strong auditing skills and knowledge of ISO 19011.
Proven ability to use a structured, analytical approach with logical problem-solving.
Experience with various production processes.
