What You Will Do
Supervise and direct the daily activities of the material handling team, ensuring adherence to safety policies and procedures.Coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to production areas.Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity in material handling operations.Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.Collaborate with other departments, such as production, procurement, and shipping, to ensure seamless material flow and address any material handling issues.Train and mentor material handling staff, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Conduct regular inspections of material handling equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and safe operation.Analyze material handling processes and recommend improvements to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.Prepare and maintain reports on material handling activities, including inventory levels, discrepancies, and performance metrics.Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experienceQualifications We Prefer
Experience in material handling or warehouse supervision, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.Material handling equipment and best practices.Organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.Inventory management systems and software.Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.Communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Forklift certification is a plus.What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
