The Opportunity
We are looking for Pre-joining Consultants to join our leading Talent Services team. Our consultants are passionate about delivering exceptional onboarding experiences and providing guidance to new joiners. They bring a strategic, analytical, and empathetic mindset to help our Talent Team navigate the complexities of the preboarding process.
Our consultants work collaboratively with new joiners to address their queries, manage immigration processes, and ensure compliance with policies. They ensure alignment with organizational goals while fostering a supportive and welcoming environment.

Your Key Responsibilities
Oversee the immigration process for employees, ensuring smooth and efficient onboarding experiences for new joiners, and handling complex and sensitive immigration issues. Manage local immigration matters, staying updated with country-specific immigration policies, and providing support to employees within the respective countries. Prepare documents related to residency renewal, new joiner medical, and pension, and assist in the registration of national employees into the pension scheme. Focus on document preparation and follow-ups, coordination with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with immigration policies. Maintain confidentiality and integrity due to the sensitive nature of personal documentation involved, and uphold brand and reputation. Liaise with colleagues and managers to proactively escalate problems and potential issues. Provide an exceptional new joiner experience ensuring that when they join EY, their experience lives up to our Employee Value Proposition (EVP). Guide team members to resolve challenging situations concerning benefits and legal areas. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all elements of the new joiner process. Identify potential problems and opportunities related to preboarding. Help internal clients and colleagues adjust to changes in EY processes and structures by identifying likely issues and providing support to enable the change. Skills and Attributes for Success Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build positive relationships with the broader HR Team, including recruitment and immigration. Strong MS Office skills and a willingness to acquire new skills to effectively leverage internal reporting systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in dynamic, fast-paced environments. A passion for understanding the onboarding experience and the needs of new joiners. To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have A bachelor’s degree, with a preference for those with HR specialization. A minimum of 5-8 years of strong knowledge and immigration experience working with a large multinational and global company. Strong candidate-centric skills and experience managing multiple priorities and a high volume of candidate queries. Excellent English language communication skills, both written and verbal. A positive can-do attitude and approach to responsibilities; demonstrate commitment to the role. Experience working with multi-cultural teams is a plus. What We Look For
