Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Structural Technician to play a pivotal role in our projects by taking responsible charge and performing various duties essential to the project's success. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and drafters, ensuring the seamless completion of project design documents while coordinating designs with other disciplines to resolve issues and provide necessary technical information.
ResponsibilitiesAssist Structural Engineer in project execution.Coordinate with the project team, including architects, engineers, and drafters, to facilitate the completion of project design documents.Coordinate project designs with other disciplines to determine needs, resolve problems, and provide technical information.Attend meetings with owners, clients, or other designers as needed.Develop, modify, and review drawings according to established standards and technical expertise.Perform interdisciplinary coordination.Assist less experienced structural technicians or drafters.Essential SkillsProficient in REVIT.Understanding of technical policies and procedures related to the discipline.Experience in structural design and construction involving concrete, masonry, steel, and wood.Ability to produce structural drawings for a variety of projects, including municipal, K-12 and Higher Education Facilities, industrial, commercial, and pre-engineered metal buildings.Additional Skills & QualificationsTechnical Diploma in Structural or Architectural Drafting.Ten or more years of applicable experience in the Structural design discipline.Accustomed to standard structural details and building materials.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.75 - $36.00/hr.
