WSP is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Structural Engineer to join our team for a major stormwater infrastructure project in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership ability, and a strong background in structural design and assessment of infrastructure systems, particularly in stormwater and drainage-related works."" - Lead and oversee structural design and analysis for stormwater infrastructure, including culverts, channels, retention structures, and related components. - Coordinate with hydrology, hydraulic, and geotechnical teams to ensure fully integrated solutions. - Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, material specifications, and design documentation. - Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocodes, Saudi Building Code). - Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support their development. - Interface with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders during design, review, and construction phases. - Support the project team in risk assessments, value engineering, and constructability reviews. - Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations as required. - Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred). - Minimum 15 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 5 years in stormwater or infrastructure projects. - Previous consultancy experience is essential. - Proven ability to lead structural design teams and coordinate multi-disciplinary input. - Strong knowledge of engineering software (e.g., STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, Revit). - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Professional registration or chartership is highly desirable (e.g., PE, CEng).
