Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


This position can be filled full-time or part-time (minimum 32 hours/week). It is also possible to fill the role as part of a job-sharing arrangement (50:50). If you are interested, we kindly ask both tandem partners to submit separate applications referencing each other.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

Technology and Innovation Assessments: You conduct complex evaluations of new technologies and innovations, analyze their relevance for our portfolio, initiate implementation projects, and potentially lead their execution.Thought Leadership & Communication: You develop strategic perspectives on technology trends and represent them internally and externally – e.g., through whitepapers, presentations, or executive briefings.Networking & Partnerships: You strengthen our academic partner network and foster exchange with internal thought leaders.Ad-hoc Analyses & Reporting: You perform short-term analyses upon request from stakeholdersAdditionally, you act as a strategic sparring partner for senior management on technology and innovation-related topics.

Your qualifications and experience:

You hold a degree in Physics, Digital Health, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field; a PhD is a plus.You have several years of extensive work experience in at least one technology-driven role – e.g., product management, R&D, strategy, or innovation.You possess strong technical understanding and can quickly grasp and evaluate new technological developments.You bring strategic experience, ideally complemented by consulting or in-house strategy expertise.You have already gained leadership experience through project management, ideally in interdisciplinary or international (project) teams.Ideally, you have experience in the MedTech sector.


Your attributes and skills:

You demonstrate strong strategic thinking, analyze complex relationships proactively, and develop sustainable solutions that balance technical and business goals.You have excellent communication skills, especially in presenting complex content to top management in a targeted manner.You are a strong networker and easily build relationships both internally and externally.You step boldly: You focus on possibilities (“Why not?” instead of “Why?”) and act proactively.You value working in a global environment and are willing to travel occasionally to partners and conferences domestically and abroad (approx. 10%).You have excellent English skills at a business level to navigate confidently in our international environment. German skills are beneficial but not required.
